SQUEEZE-A-THON
TOKYO: A group of Japanese porn actresses are preparing to have their breasts squeezed by fans for 24 hours this weekend for a charity event loosely translated as “Boob Aid”.
The nine adult movie stars told local media today they could barely contain their excitement about the “Stop! AIDS” campaign event — which will be televised live begins at 8 pm on Saturday (1100 GMT) and is backed by the Japan Foundation for AIDS Prevention.
“It’s for charity,” said the 21-year-old. “Squeeze them, donate money — let’s be happy.”

Planned Murder : The Wolverine’s death
There were rumours that Marvel’s seminal X-Men character, Wolverine aka Logan, who was first introduced in November 1974, will be killed off.
The rumour about Wolverine’s death started because Marvel Comics writer Charles Soule has dropped hints in interviews and at comic convention panels that, “Yes, he is really dying” and Marvel has even talked about follow-up that will hit after.
Wolverine. Dying. Sad but true. And as much as that comes as a shock to us, we can’t help but wonder, how..exactly? And when?
Wolverine will be killed off in an upcoming 4-part Marvel limited series. Appropriately titled, “Death of Wolverine”, it will centre around a story purporting to kill off one of the publisher’s most popular and prominent characters. The story will start on 3rd September and will end in the same month. The series will be written by head writer Charles Soule (of course) and drawn by Steve McNiven.
According to Marvel executive editor Michael (Mike) Marts
For a long time, no matter who Wolverine was battling, he’s been the eternal victor. He almost always comes out on top. Now he finally comes up against an adversary that he cannot win against, he cannot fight. What does that mean for this character who’s been around for hundred years?
SAD BUT TRUE
W'ell .... maybe its a marketing strategy who knows he will be revived later ...
FYFI Studio Ghibli Is Not Closing Down
Fortunately, reports of Studio Ghibli's death have been premature. Slashfilm has dug up a report from the Anime News Network correctly deciphering a message from Toshio Suzuki, co-founder of Studio Ghibli. What caused the rumors were Suzuki's words about the production side of Studio Ghibli, which would undergo a "restructuring" or "housecleaning" for the next generation of animators. Said Suzuki,
"On what to do with Studio Ghibli's future, it is by no means impossible to keep producing [movies] forever. However, we will take a brief pause to consider where to go from here."
Suzuki has served as a producer for several Studio Ghibli films over the years, and when Miyazaki stepped down he did as well, now serving as "general manager." These rumors have circulated as Studio Ghibli's latest film, When Mamie Was Here, debuted to slightly softer numbers than the studio anticipated. Of course, blaming the box office for Studio Ghibli's declining success might be folly. Many Studio Ghibli films perform weakly in the U.S. Last year's The Wind Rises earned a stateside release after the Oscar nominations, but despite a star-studded voiceover crew, the film only grossed $5.2 million in America. But around the world, that number rose to $112 million, which is in line with various Ghibli hits. 2012's The Secret World Of Arrietty was another smash, with $145 million in worldwide receipts. And 2009's Ponyo grossed $201 million. These movies make a ton of money.
SO SHUT THE FUCK UP, THEY ARE NOT CLOSING DOWN
Final Fantasy XIV : A Real Reborn Online
Square-Enix’s hit MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has officially launched a 14-day free trial period for those who want to try the game before buying into it. FFXIV follows a subscription model similar to that of World of Warcraft, and requires players to both buy the game and pay a monthly fee to access the servers. Previously, the only trial period existed as a 30-day pass after buying the title.
There are some limitations to what a player can do while on the free trial, with the details available on the website. Essentially, the players are limited to a cap of level 20 while on the trial and are mainly restricted in their ability to interact with other players. This means being unable to recruit others into parties, no trading, and a fewer chat options. The other catch is that this free trial period only applies to the PC version of the game.
