Some time ago, a group of tourist found the most beautifull moon was in koh pangan
they arranged a party along the cresent shaped beach of haad rin to celebrate the full moon night
from then on people from all over the world come to join the celebration
and now there are about 10,000-30,000 people joins the celebration every month
the party stars at dusk and when the round yellow moon make its appearance over the white sandy beach.
in twilight, small tables are lined up on the beach and thousands of lamps are lit...
as the evening progresses the beach explodes into a dancing frenzy as diffrent DJ's and MC's take their fun on the deck.there is something for everyone here, trance, techno,drum & bass, comercial dance and reggae so no one is dissapointed.
jugglers and fire eaters entertain the crowd as the night goes on and with a briliant firework display,
the party atmosphere is complete, after few hour it couldnt be a time to chill out for awhile
grab a drink or a bite from the beach traders wade out and sit down in the warm surf of the gulf of thailand pure pure heaven.
revive and relaxed its time to return to the main beach and getblown into another dancing dimensio,
while people all around are doing the same, there are no barriers here, no inhibition, just people enjoying themself with one unified intention,to rejoice in the magic that is the paradise of the FULL MOON PARTY !
Remember this is a great party with excellent music and feel-good factor all around but remember to be observe sensible travel etiquette. In fact if you are feeling ok the next day why not help locals clean up the beach.
