Girlfriend from Hell

A video of a woman seen aggressively berating her male companion and assaulting him repeatedly in the groin, is fast becoming a viral hit after it was posted on citizen website STOMP.
Surprisingly, much negative feedback has come from females, rather than males. lets hits the street to weigh public opinion on the matter.

BEWARE GENTLEMEN S
THE DEVIL IS RIGHT BESIDE YOU,
IT COULD WAKE UP ANYTIME

The Curve, Flea market

Shopping days are limited, but it is a great place to while away the hours and hunt for that extra special find. Two main rows of stalls dominate the mall’s Street area and there are also a number of vendors based outside the opposing mall.

The sheer variety here makes this one of the top outdoor flea markets in the Klang Valley. Shop for handcrafted items, handbags, clothes, and decorative items for the home. There is enough choice for both men and women. And, some wholesalers even set up stall here (the swimsuit vendors, for example), so it’s likely you’ll find better prices than elsewhere.

The area does get very busy at weekends, so a tip is to get there early before parking is a hassle and the crowds get too alarming. Otherwise, take a breather during your shopping spree at one of the many F&B establishments in the mall.

“The Street” where countless of stalls are set up along the pathway allowing visitors and shoppers to browse their wares. Located in such an ideal location, right smack in between restaurants, bars and cafes, the selection of wares for sale is nothing to laugh about. The flea market opens during the weekends throughout the day till evening.

One advantage of having a flea market right next to the Royal Bintang Hotel is that whenever you have a guest flying in from overseas, the Royal Bintang is a good place to house them as it is conveniently located next to a shopping complex and they won’t be bored over the weekend as the flea market can offer them plenty of trinkets to buy as souvenirs. we can’t really say that the prices here are extremely cheap as I believe these stalls target middle class families and the middle class income group.
Image
With plenty of stalls to keep you entertained, both for the usual female shop-a-holic and the occasional male stall browser, the fares offered were pretty interesting ranging from the usual trinkets such as necklaces, ear rings, bracelets, rings, ornaments and hand bags to lawn ornaments, tote bags, t-shirts, photos and photo frames, the sheer variety of items on sale is incredible. This is what usually makes a flea market interesting and this is what keeps it interesting. As more stalls are added or when stalls change, the change in environment and choice attract a huge crowd of people.

we can go on and on rambling about the wonderful trinkets on display and for sale at such a reasonable price but this is one place where you would definitely want to check it out yourself because we are sure everyone here has their own opinion and tastes. With the vast choice made available.
Image
Guys, if you want to bring your girl out shopping, this is one place which provides plenty of choices and opportunities for them to browse through and purchase at reasonable prices. Girls, this place is as interesting as it can get with plenty of stalls catering for all sort of tastes, and in taste, I mean by age groups as well. And by age groups.
Image
Overall, this place is better compared to the Flea Market over at Kiara as it's location is way better and the overall shopping experience is enhanced with the variety of choices and the places to go as The Curve, Cineleisure, Ikano Powercenter, Ikea and Tesco are just walking distant away from the market.
Image
The Curve is located at Mutiara Damansara, right next to the LDP (Lebuh Damansara-Puchong) highway after the 1 Utama. There are five ways to get to The Curve, one of them as mentioned above would be the LDP highway, via the NKVE highway through Kota Damansara, via the Penchala Link, and via Damansara Perdana as shown in the map below.

Getting a parking at The Curve is not so much of a problem depending on the time you arrive but my advice is to go straight to Basement 2. Prices on weekends are just only RM2 per entry for the entire day which is very cheap compared to parking in KL.

Nayati is back home

What good news for the day: the 12-year-old schoolboy, Nayati Moodliar, who was abducted outside the Mont Kiara International School last Friday reportedly been FOUND. He's safely back in the arms of his parents now :)

Nayati was abducted at 7.35am on April 27 while walking to the Mont' Kiara International School.

Police sources said after several attempts at negotiations, the kidnappers finally agreed on a substantial ransom amount which was paid to the kidnappers Thursday morning.

The sources said the kidnappers contacted the family shortly after he was grabbed by two men in a black car and later demanded for a ransom for his safe release.

City police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Mohmad Salleh confirmed Nayati was now with his family, saying that the child was released safely and unharmed at a rest and recreation stop along the North South Expressway near Sungai Buloh at around 7.55am on Thursday.

He added that police are still investigating the kidnapping and urged the public with information on the case to call 03-2115 9999.

The awareness campaign that had spread quickly since the moment Nayati was abducted early Friday morning on the way to his school has been incredible, to say the least. Bravo to all who were involved – the public, the police, the government, the media – and even those from overseas whom the Moodliars have never met – and are never likely to meet – who have offered their time, skills and money without any expectation of any form of compensation.
On top of the speedy posters that have been posted all over town in no time, the setting up of the ‘Please help us to find Nayati Moodliar’ Facebook page has also done wonders in getting the ball rolling.

A prominent businessman was also kind enough to offer RM50,000 via Malaysian Digest for information leading to the safe return of Nayati which kick-started our “Bring Nayati Home” campaign
